The Vitamins Direct web site follows
the standard pattern of browsing in different product categories to
choose the items you wish to buy, and then adding them to a virtual
"shopping basket" on your way to the "checkout"
to make payment by credit card
Choosing a purchase
The catalogue headings are on the
left hand side - just click and follow the headings in which you are
interested. When you click to "Buy" an item, it is placed
in your shopping "basket". At any time you may click "View
Basket" to see what you have selected. You can then carry on
shopping, or change what you have selected, or click "Checkout"
and complete your order and payment.
Special offers
The web site also features a Special
Offer section, reached by clicking the button at the top of the page.
In here you will find all the fantastic money-saving offers currently
available for a limited period for you to click and place right in
your basket.
Changing quantities
If you decide
you want more or less of an item, go to "View Basket" and
change the quantity.. Then click "Update".
Removing purchases
If you change
you mind about a product, go to "View Basket" and change
the quantity to zero. Then click "Update".
Terms and conditions
Orders for products from our website are accepted on the following
terms and conditions: -
1. Accuracy of website information: we have used every effort
to ensure that information on our website is accurate. No warranty
is however given as to the accuracy of information provided.
2. Product description: we will endeavour to ensure that any
variation in the specification of the products does not adversely
affect the performance of products supplied. Price and availability
of products are subject to change and we reserve the right to withdraw
any product from sale or to correct any error on the website without
incurring any liability.
3. Order confirmation: a contract will be formed between
us on our sending an e-mail confirming your order to the address
provided by you.
4. Price and payment:
i. The price payable by you will be the price of the product as
advertised on our website at the time of acceptance of your order;
except in the case of manifest error when the provisions of paragraph
2 above will apply.
ii. Prices are quoted inclusive of Value Added Tax at the applicable
rate but exclude the cost of delivery.
iii. Payment will be made by credit card when we accept your order.
Any refunds payable will normally be made as a credit to your payment
card.
5. Delivery: Your order will normally be dispatched within
seven days of receiving your order. Overseas delivery times will
vary and you should allow up to 28 days for delivery. We will let
you know promptly if a product is out of stock and we will suggest
an alternative product where possible. Normal delivery charges are:
£2.95 for each order to be delivered to a UK address, and
£6.95 for international orders.
6. Order cancellation: Orders may be cancelled up to twenty-eight
days after delivery. You must return the product to us unused and
with the original documentation (as sent with each parcel). You
must provide written confirmation of your order number and an explanation
of the reason for cancellation. Delivery costs of returning any
product will be payable by you, unless due to error on our part.
We will credit your credit card promptly or issue a refund.
7. Liability: liability for any direct, indirect or consequential
loss or damage from use of the products is excluded to the extent
permitted by law. Your statutory rights will not be affected.
8. Privacy: we will add your email address to our mailing
list for news and special offers when you place an order with us.
From time to time we may make details of our customer database available
to carefully vetted third parties who may be of interest to you
for marketing purposes. If you wish to remove your address, please
send an email to info@vitsdirect.com and check that “ remove
from mailing list “ is in the subject box.
9. Law: English law will apply to the contract between us
and the English courts will have jurisdiction in the case of any
dispute.
10. Prescription Only Products: restrictions apply on the
supply of Prescription Only Products in many territories. It is
your responsibility to check with the authorities before placing
orders for products if you are unsure as to their status.

You will get a confirmation of your order by email, and a copy of
the invoice with your order. Nevertheless, if you have any query before
it arrives, it will be a great help if you have kept a copy of the
